All Eyes On Georgia was created in celebration of Stacey Abrams, grassroots Black and Brown women organizers, and the spirit of John Lewis. Standing on the shoulders of giants like Fannie Lou Hamer, and all those who go unnamed––for thwarting voter suppression and helping voters turn out in historic numbers for the 2020 presidential election. The artwork was conceived in Brooklyn one week after the election leading to a viral moment after the senate runoffs on January 6th, 2021. It was clear that Georgia voters had flipped the Senate blue.
